About a year ago, I stumbled across the video that started it all on YouTube. At the time, it was just another random video of someone having a bit of fun to the tune of Daft Punk’s Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger and posting to the ‘tube.
Upon revisiting the video the other day (while getting wrapped up in this awesome video) I saw a few related videos which piqued my attention. I dug a little deeper.
The groovy girl is Sophie Merry, a 26 year old animator from Dublin, Ireland. Sophie’s video quickly gained popularity. So much so, that it caught the eye of a French communications agency. They flew her out to France to use her in a campaign for clothing label Etam. Sophie’s image is now plastered throughout Europe and around the world, as the face of their campaign.
The story of her success has been described as a genuine fairy tale. Watch the story (in 2 parts) here and here.
I love watching videos online specially on Youtube. There are lots of music clips, movie clips and instructional videos on Youtube. I love em all.

Great Site! Personally I love mine old carpet runner. It’s a perfect first impression to friends visiting to my place. And they are very enjoyable to walk on! Never again do I have to sense the pain of walking on icy stairs in the morning. It also mutes the sound made by from walking on it! I extremely recommend everyone to get one! It’s too a perfect safety addition to your home. I speak from experience, falling on a stair with a carpet runner is much more preferable than falling on one without any!
