So who is Denham, anyway?
1st or 3rd person… I wonder (or is it ‘he wonders’?)
Since a very young age I’ve been interested in one thing. Computers. Since the term ‘computers’ encapsulates an extremely wide array of disciplines and technologies, it’s kinda hard to describe. When I was 6 my dad brought home our first PC. Needless to say that halfway through the day I had taken it to pieces to see how it worked. One tends to learn VERY quickly about something when they realise that said item has to be back in working order before Dad gets back home. And so the downward spiral began.
Having tried my hand at a number of various jobs, including: PC hardware sales and support, high-tech digital x-ray support, general network administration, consulting, detailed analysis and reporting and pretty much anything IT-related, I once again find myself working for myself, which I absolutely love.
Nowadays I am a full-time geek. I spend most of my time developing PHP applications. As a freelance developer, I get to work with a bunch of really brilliant people. Two such people are Meryl Rosenberg from Pixelmagic and Tyler Reed from Younique.
Arb facts - When I’m not geeking out, I love taking photographs. I’ve been taking photos for a local band, The Sandbox, for around the last 3 years. A few of my photos are here. I’m currently studying - BSc Computer Science. I love red wine. I can solve the Rubick’s Cube.
